The biggest names in the banking and financial services world gathered at the Grand Connaught Rooms in London last night, for the annual Banking Technology Awards ceremony (\u00a0www.bit.ly\/rWS33r<\/a>\u00a0).<\/p>\n

The awards were judged by a number of industry heavyweights including Professor Michael Mainelli<\/strong> (Executive Chairman, Z\/Yen Group), Ray O\u2019Brien<\/strong> (Global Head of Risk IT, HSBC) , Stephen Norman <\/strong>(CIO Global Banking & Markets, RBS) and Paul Willmott <\/strong>(Director, McKinsey & Co).<\/p>\n

As part of the\u00a0final and ultimate accolade of the evening, Ian was awarded the highly prestigious and acclaimed Banking Technology \u201cCIO Of The Year\u201d award.<\/p>\n
